It's a dreary February day, so I thought I'd share this. This is a picture I snapped while visiting the Biltmore last fall after a wedding weekend in Asheville. Happy Monday, everyone!

Happy 2012!!
Sometimes, when I'm overwhelmed with editing or orders I take a small break and check out my favorite wedding blogs. It's a stress reliever and it keeps me inspired. Last year, videos imparticular caught my eye. It's no secret that I love cinematography and film making. Even considered studying it. Every once and a while I stumble across something so cute I have to share it. Here are a few of my favorite video finds of 2011 in the wedding world.
First is this super sweet surprise performance this groom did for his cute bride, captured by Studio205Films. It's got kind of a long intro [the real action starts about 2 minutes in], but it's totally worth the wait. Such a funny and heartwarming moment. I love the little things that make each wedding unique. The groomsmen were super dedicated and I'm sure they helped make that reception a memorable one.
The second video is from a company called Iris and Light. They do engagement and wedding videos that are to die for. They always capture the spirit of a couple so much so that I feel like I know them by the time the video ends. One of their engagements especially caught my eye [but watch all of their videos if you have some time to kill]. Lauren & Ben's film was romantic, creative, and just plain fun. I just had to play it multiple times. Kudos to Iris and Light on their amazing work.
Finally we have Lex & Loren's Engagement/Save the date video: These two cuties own their own Wedding Videography Business. Although video save the date's/proposals are becoming more and more popular, i have not yet found one that tops theirs. Watching this video, you can tell that they were tailor made for each other.
Well that's all and I hope you enjoyed watching these as much as I did. Have a Happy 2012!! :)

Merry Christmas!
This past weekend I participated in the 2nd annual Santa in the Gardens, held at The Gardens at Gray Gables in Summerfield. My favorite part of taking Santa pictures are the kids so aren't so thrilled to see the big guy. The first photo you will see is Danielle's [the owner at The Gardens at Gray Gables] little one, Kyle. Enjoy our favorite crying shots from the day!! :)
Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a relaxing New Years!

Do you have a song yet?
I LOVE this song. It is absolutely precious. David Ramirez is an amazing songwriter and musician and if you haven't heard his music you should check it out. He's also pretty adorable in this super cute video.

Sneak Peek for Jenn & Mike
Just one little sneak peek photo from our Asheville Wedding this past weekend. I love how they are out of focus, it brings out the colors. I love fall. :)
